Officer Reports

President Mike Elkins: No report.

Treasurer Alicia Parham: The treasurer's report was read and passed. 29 current members, 4 life members.

Secretary Chan Patrick: Corrections or additions, passed. Old motions: motion made for $150 for food for Field Day, passed. Voting on the 501(c)(3) changes and the articles of the constitution — motion to approve changes, passed; motion to approve the revised articles of the constitution, passed. Motion made for a $100 gas card for the Brantley family, passed.

VP Bobby Murphy: HAMFEST 2026 is Saturday, July 18th. Lisa Mashburn is the custodian for the high school and will be unlocking the doors. Lee will set out signs from the interstate to the high school and will also sit at the park to direct people. Banners will be on the fence. The vendors list has changed since many quit coming due to the dirt floor. Will need help Friday afternoon at 3pm to set everything up; dealers will be coming in Friday to set up. Will have to cover the floor, extension cords along the wall, and plenty of chairs and tables. Want to set up tables for a center walk-through. Keep in mind what we can do better for next year. The canopy will be movable and will make each row. Trying to keep traffic off Rocky Mountain Road. Tailgaters and vendors will be on the other side. $5 parking spot; blue line is handicapped parking. Salty Mel's will be the food vendor; the communication trailer will be beside it. The prize table manager will send the winning ticket to the communication table, and it will be announced by the communication trailer on 441.800, 060, and 490 simplex, as well as on the PA system. 9am will start collection for the $5 entry. $10 charge for inside tables; the inside manager will collect that, though some will not be charged. Discussed placement of tables for vendors. Testing room is behind the main area. Club table will be set up near the back room. TN Guard knows they are not helping this year but still has a table. Went over no-charge list and front gate guidelines. Need a list of paid members; under 16 get in free. No charge, no ticket. $2 tickets for the prizes. Workers will park as far away as possible. Reviewed breakers for the breaker box. 1 parking spot per 1 empty spot for the vendors. Both gates on Rocky Mountain Road will open. Parking lot near the cafeteria will be closed. Stadium bathrooms will be open. Handicapped parking is marked; will have cones. Will not need an extra PA. Signs will be reversible. Trailers will be set up Friday at 3pm. Will have a cooler with water. Discussion about money collection at the outside gate. Will put extra trash cans in the parking lot. Do not park on the grass. Prize tickets are not the same as the entry ticket. Testing from 8:30am to closing. Strictly cash only.

Trustee Kevin Cornwell: Replaced the repeater on No Pone Mountain. Gave the old repeater parts to Kevin Duplant. Working on an SOP to check up on each repeater.

Paperwork has been sent to the IRS for the 501(c)(3).
